And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived and bore three sons and two daughters.

1Samuel 2:21

This verse is a beautiful way God shows us He is the maker of life and the giver of good things.

And the child Samuel grew in Stature, and in favor both with the Lord and men.

1Samuel 2:26

This would be the desire of my heart for my own children. And I believe a result of Hannah having given Samuel over to the Lord from early on. Difficult to relinquish what is so dear, but sure to bring blessings.
