Sweet Deception
What can I say, my little man likes to eat. He was born a survivor. Give him a few more years and yeah- I think he could hang with Survivor Man. Although he is a joyful and happy little person on any given day (he wasn't always, but I understand better now, I mean if I had a bulge of blood vessels in my brain I wouldn't be too happy either) Taylor is his happiest when he is eating. He is not too picky either which makes it much easier for his Mommy. But honestly he consumes easily as much if not more than B & J. This leads me to the title of this post, "EAT!" Last night we were preparing the kids for bed as we usually do only Taylor kept emphatically saying "EAT". I really did not think he was hungry because I knew what all he had eaten, it was also bedtime and I didn't feel he needed to eat anything right before bed. Did I mention he was a survivor? Well he's also very persistent. He kept on, refusing to participate in our evening ritual with the big kids. At first chance he ran out of the room and straight to the pantry, making his plea again, "EAT!" Dean looked at me with pity in his eyes and said "he thinks he's hungry". So the mother's heart gave in, and let me say by this time I was nearly convinced myself that he was indeed hungry. We sat down in the kitchen floor and he had a small bowl of yogurt, which he wasn't really all that interested in. He danced around me and his mood changed immediately. It was then that Dean and I both knew we'd been had. Dean said it well, the sly little fox was just looking for a way to stay up and a pretty clever attempt on his part. He got us. But guess what- we are on to him and it won't work again. Good one Tay. I am certain this is only the beginning of many more "sweet deceptions."
What all I can say about Ma-Maw's little guy! He is such a JOY to be around and brings such love and laughter to our family. I agree with his Mommy, he does like to eat! When the kids come out for Dinner it never fails, after he gets through eating, he will climb down just to climb up on either Paw-Paw's lap or Ma-Maw's to do some more eating. We Love it! I love to cook and make desserts for my big kids and little kids. It brings such a joy to my heart to see them eat! Whenever Taylor puts something very yummy in his mouth, he always does the Mmmm-Mmmm! It is the cutest thing ever! He is a True Survivor and I know that God has so much in store for him! We love him very much!

P.S. Paw-Paw thinks he is his little guy. I just let him keep thinking that so please don't tell him any different.
